Ryan Nelson

Ryan has been in the heavy-duty industry for over 15 years and has covered all of North America throughout his career. Starting in 2004 as a regional sales rep with Kitmasters, he has built close, lasting relationships throughout the industry. In fact, his favorite part of the job has been building these relationships that have developed into deep friendships over the years. Ryan sincerely enjoys the family-like nature of business in the heavy-duty sales and marketing industry. After spending 13 years with Kitmasters and the Swanson family, he struck out on his own and created Northland Sales and Marketing where he was able to grow his own business using the network he had built. He has earned numerous awards throughout his career. He also worked at ECCO during this time period, but had an opportunity to become a partner with the MINK team in 2019. Taking over for his friend of many years and industry associate Larry Vickers, Ryan is now a principal at MINK where his territory covers Iowa, Illinois and Kansas City. He is pleased to be able to keep the business “in the family.” He is married and has four boys. When not working, you’ll find him outdoors – hunting, practicing archery or tending to his family’s hobby farm.
